FAQS
WHAT ARE THE PAYMENT OPTIONS?
CAN I PRE-ORDER ITEMS?
Yes! I prefer pre-ordering as it secures your spot. During wedding season, spots fill up quickly. If you don't pre-order spots are likely to be unavailable.
HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER?
First it is important that you fill out the order inquiry form. Once I confirm your order I will send you a proposal outline all the details and pricing. When you receive the proposal and everything looks good, you will pay the 50% deposit and your spot is booked!
ONCE I SUBMIT THE ORDER, CAN I CHANGE ANYTHING?
Yes absolutely! You can always add items later if you choose. If you want to remove anything that is ok too as long as the value of the order is not less than the original 50% deposit.
If you are just purchasing smaller items and not the floral block, I am happy to add anything for you later on, as long as there are enough flowers. Unfortunately, I can't accept cancellations at this time. Once you confirm your spot, it is held for you. Cancellations, especially close to the event impact my ability to schedule new clients.
The only exception to this rule is if your event is moved out. I understand that from time to time this may happen. If your event date is changed, I will simply slide you to the new date slot. I try to be accommodating given the current global environment.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO COMPLETE MY ORDER?
Between 6-10 weeks from the time I get your flowers. Normally this timeline is on the shorter side but during wedding season it can be longer. I make sure to take my time on all pieces, the last thing I want to do is rush any special pieces. Trust me, it is worth the wait!
DO YOU OFFER GIFT CARDS?
At this time I don't offer formal gift cards, however I am happy to accept bookings as gifts for the bride/groom or a special event. I will work with you directly once you complete the order inquiry form.
WHAT IF THERE IS SOMETHING I WANT THAT ISN'T LISTED AS AN OPTION?
If you want something completely custom, I am happy to work with you on pricing and feasibility. Again, please submit an order inquiry and we can talk details. I am happy to make your dreams come true (if possible :))!
WHAT IS THE DRYING FEE FOR?
If you don't order a full block, I charge a small drying fee with the order. This is because smaller orders take just as long as the larger ones to work through in terms of drying flowers and preparing items. With these smaller orders, that is significant time and materials. The drying fee allows me to offer these pieces standalone instead of just as add-ons. Many floral preservation companies only offer small pieces as add ons for this, very understandable, reason.
DO I GET MY FLOWERS BACK THAT ARE NOT USED?
If you want a few flowers back I will do my best to wrap a few and include them with your order. If you want more than just a few I can send back as many as possible, with a small additional charge.
WHAT ARE THE SHIPPING CHARGES?
For any block orders, shipping is a flat $20.
For small orders shipping is calculated based off weight. Generally these costs are around $10. I ship all mail priority with insurance.
HOW DO I CARE FOR MY RESIN ITEMS?
It is true that over time resin can yellow. There are ways to minimize this process. First and foremost, i use the highest quality resin that has UV inhibitors (anti-yellowing properties). Please do not place your items in direct sunlight as this can cause issues over time. A room with some sunlight is ok, just avoid places where the sun shines directly for long periods of time.

IS THIS PROCESS RIGHT FOR YOU?
You've seen my Instagram or TikTok, read all the information on the site and the process details, but please make sure this is the right process for you! Resin Art is stunning, but it is a handmade process- I am not a machine. There are a few things you need to know before committing to this investment. Please take a moment to look through and ensure you are aware of how resin floral preservation works.
Drying:
Please be aware that when drying flowers the color of the flowers may change slightly. Silica gel is incredible for maintaining the look and shape of the flower, but as the gel pulls the moisture out, it can change the color of the flowers.
White Flowers: White flowers, especially those who have wilted slightly in transit can dry with a yellow tint around the edges. This makes them look "vintage" to a certain degree. However, it is important to note that most white flowers do not dry completely white.
Red Flowers: Red and Dark Pink flowers will dry even darker. They end up looking maroon or burgundy once dry. Still stunning, but a slightly different color.
Overall, most flowers will dry slightly darker, but pinks, greens and purples generally dry very well.
Bubbles:
Each design is handmade and a few air bubbles can be trapped in the resin, this is normal with resin work and especially with flowers given all of their "nooks and crannies" in the petals. Although I take extreme care in reducing bubbles, it is inevitable that pieces will have a few bubbles, likely on the sides. Don't worry though- they are only noticeable if you stare.
Delicate Flowers:
Flowers are already delicate, dried flowers, even more so. I am extremely careful when removing and prepping the flowers, but sometimes they fall apart in transit or in the drying process. This is why I like to get the entire bouquet so we always have backups. In the event this happens we will discuss next steps & alter the design around the best preserved flowers.
Some flowers also don't ship very well. Peonies are particularly hard and often don't ship well. I will do my best with all the flowers I receive.
Shipping:
I cannot control what happens in the shipping process- both sending flowers to me and shipping them back to clients. I always will insure my shipments and ship priority and wrap all the pieces in as much protection as possible. However, if USPS damages in transit I cannot be held responsible.
